Robbye has 12 years of corporate real estate experience and has completed over $500 million in transactions solely on behalf of tenants. Prior to launching RubiCrown, Robbye was the Executive Vice President of National Field Development for the award-winning, Google Ventures funded start-up, Kitchen United, a disrupter in the food services industry, where she worked to develop and refine their site selection strategy, developed the company’s development approval process, and secured sites in multiple markets from California to Ohio.

Prior to that, Robbye was a broker with Newmark Knight Frank, where she worked to rightly align clients’ real estate objectives with overall business strategies, especially focused on helping tenants reduce spend, use space efficiently and attract and retain talent. She started her real estate career with The Trammell Crow Company, where she worked for the founding tenant representation team in Dallas and helped launch the Los Angeles tenant representation division prior to their acquisition by CBRE.

Robbye has worked in over 50 U.S. markets and in Mexico on behalf of office, industrial, and retail users of space. She brings a unique perspective to real estate portfolio management from working both as a broker of national accounts and an in-house real estate decision maker for a major national roll-out initiative.

Robbye has completed transactions on behalf of TransPak, SLTX, Kitchen United, National American University, GTT Communications, CGI, Whitney Bank, Braskem America, Fisher Phillips, Duane Morris, Cameron International, Energy Alloys, Fulbright, and an award-winning 1 million-square-foot headquarters transaction for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Robbye is a member of Opportunity Austin, The Greater Houston Partnership, Texas Wall Street Women, and CoreNet Global. She serves on the Texas Tech Alumni Association National Board, and is a Patroness with the Lake Travis Chapter of National Charity League.  Robbye also serves as the Superintendent of Sunday School and on the Parish Council at St. Elias Orthodox Church in Austin.  Robbye holds degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. She and her husband, Shawn Kirkpatrick, live in Austin and have four teenagers.
